Painful, heavy or all-over-the-place periods are common — and far too often brushed off. I take them seriously, and treat with your cycle in mind rather than one-size-fits-all.
Acupuncture is used to help ease cramping and settle a cycle over a few months, with sessions timed to where you are. It's supportive care that works in with your GP — and if something points to a condition that needs medical investigation, I'll tell you to get it checked.

When in my cycle should I come?
We plan it together — often in the lead-up to your period. Booking a little ahead helps us time it well.
Is this instead of seeing my doctor?
No — it works alongside your GP. If your pain is severe, new, or getting worse, please get it checked medically too.
How long until I notice a change?
Usually over a few cycles rather than overnight. I'll be honest if it's not helping.
Can I claim it on private health?
