Pricing & rebates

Simple pricing, no surprises.

You pay for time, not the technique — the same rates whether it's acupuncture, remedial massage, cupping, or a mix in the one session. Health-fund rebates apply, and HICAPS means you can claim on the spot.

What's included

Every visit, the same care.

  • A proper history and hands-on assessment — no session starts cold.
  • Treatments combined as needed — a little acupuncture, some hands-on work — at no extra charge.
  • Plain-language answers: what I find, what I'd expect, and whether you need to come back.
  • No lock-in packages and no pressure to rebook.

Rebates & claiming

Claim on the spot.

If your private health extras cover acupuncture or remedial massage, you can claim a rebate on each session. HICAPS is available in the room, so in most cases you tap your health-fund card and only pay the gap.

  • Bring your health-fund card to claim instantly via HICAPS.
  • Your rebate depends on your fund and level of cover — check with your fund if you're unsure.
  • No referral needed to book.

Questions about cost

Do I need a referral?

No — you can book directly, for any treatment. If you have a referral or relevant test results, bring them along, but they're not required.

Can I claim on private health insurance?

Yes, if your extras cover acupuncture or remedial massage. HICAPS is available so you can claim on the spot and pay only the gap. How much comes back depends on your fund and level of cover.

Is acupuncture covered by Medicare?

For most people, no — acupuncture isn't generally covered by Medicare, so private health extras are the usual way to get money back. If you're on a care plan through your GP, it's worth asking them what applies to you.

Which session length should I book?

If it's your first visit, book 60 minutes — that gives us time for a full history and a proper treatment. After that, most people settle into 30 or 60 minutes depending on what they're in for. Not sure? Book 60 and we'll sort it out together.

What if I need to change or cancel?

Life happens — just let me know as early as you can if you need to move a time, so I can offer the spot to someone else. You can reschedule through your confirmation email, or give me a call.

With more than 24 hours' notice there's never a charge. Inside 24 hours a $40 fee applies, and for same-day cancellations or missed appointments it's the full session fee — a spot given up at the last minute almost always goes unused.
