About

I'm Rebekah.

Founder & principal practitioner · Acupuncturist & remedial massage therapist · BHSc (Acupuncture)

I've spent nearly three decades with my hands on people — feeling for what the body's holding, and helping it let go.

My story

I started in remedial massage in 1998 — years of learning to read a body through my hands, where it's tight, where it's guarding, what it's protecting.

That feel for the body never left me. It's what drew me to Chinese medicine: in 2013 I finished my Bachelor of Health Science in Acupuncture, and the two have worked hand in hand ever since. Some days a session is mostly needles; some days it's mostly hands-on work; often it's both. What matters is what settles the thing you came in with.

The way I work is integrative and holistic, but clinical — not mystical. I take a proper history, I examine, and I tell you plainly what I find and what I'd expect. If I don't think I can help, I'll say so and point you somewhere that can.

I work with the body and listen to it. No rush, and no overselling — just careful hands and honest answers.

Karma Life Clinic is mine — I founded it and I'm the one you'll see, every visit. That means continuity: I remember you, I know your history, and your care doesn't get handed around. Outside the clinic you'll find me outrigging and climbing — bodies in motion are a bit of a theme.

How I work

Three things you can count on.

I listen first

Every visit starts with a proper history and a hands-on read. The treatment fits you — not a template, and not the clock.

Plain language

I'll explain what I find and why, in words that make sense. Clinical, grounded, no jargon and no mysticism.

Unhurried & honest

No rushing, no upselling, no lock-in packages. If something isn't helping, I'll tell you — and work in with your other care.

Registration & training

Registered, and accountable for it.

Acupuncture is a registered health profession in Australia. I'm registered with AHPRA under the Chinese Medicine Board and a member of the national association — held to the same standards as any regulated practitioner.

What a first visit's like

You'll lie down. I'll take your history, then place the needles — they're very fine, and most people barely feel them. Then it's your time — drift off or chat, as you feel necessary.
